1. My hairdresser found a gray hair during my last appointment.
2. When I told my neighbor's daughter that I was turning 30 tomorrow, her jaw dropped and she exclaimed, "30!?!"
and last but certainly not least,
3. My husband just brought me a cake; not to say,"Happy Birthday," but to help me bid goodbye to my 20s, or in his words, my youth.

Ha! At 36, I can assure you that you're not over the hill.
I think the 20s are actually pretty unpleasant. You are expected to *act* like an adult, but everyone treats you like an idiot and you don't actually *know* how to do a lot of things.
By contrast, your 30s are a period where you are competent but not yet aging, confident but still with most of your life ahead of you, and capable of making major changes without feeling like a failure.
Good times! Happy almost birthday.
I agree with Fiona. My 30s are pretty good so far. Happy birthday, little sis!
Ok. So I come in at a modest 34. And I totally agree with Fiona.
My thirties have been great. (Turning 30, however, was not. 'Nother story for another day.)
Have fun with it, Girlfriend!
And how cute is your husband getting that cake?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!
Thirty is the new Twenty. The girls on Sex and the City were 30 when they debuted and they were having lots of fun.
BTW you have an award on my blog!
Happy belated birthday. Do you feel different now that it's all over? I turned 33 last month. Cool so far.
I keep forgetting to ask you to email me your address...if you truly want to get that "crafty" gift from me. It may not be pretty, but it will be enthusiastic. Thanks for playing. :)
